Best time to visit Rockhampton

With a warm subtropical climate and over 300 days of sunshine each year, Rockhampton's weather is hot with dry yet humid summers and very mild winters. The summer months of December to February are also during the wet season with afternoon thunderstorms. The best time to visit is in Spring with lower rainfall and temperatures ranging from 19 to 30 degrees.
