The best time to visit Moree, NSW for warm weather activities is from early December to April. The summers are long and hot, the winters are cold, and it is mostly clear year-round. Over the year, the temperature typically varies from 5°C to 35°C. The majority of Australia’s cotton is grown in the Moree region and if you time your visit for February, you will see countless bulbous white fibres bursting from cotton plants in vast fields, it's quite a spectacular sight.
