Delhi, India's capital is a bustling city and packed with atmosphere. Dive into Delhi’s medieval bazaars and explore its ancient mosques and museums. The best places to visit are the lanes of Paharganj and the old hippy strip known as Main Bazaar that buzzes with cheap places to eat, sleep and sip a cold Kingfisher beer. Wander the lanes branching off Chandni Chowk, in Old Delhi, the centre of the Mughal city, where blocks are dedicated to the sale of kites, wrapping paper, steel pots and pans, then climb the minaret of the Jama Masjid for magnificent views. With delicious Indian cuisine from street food to fine restaurants, there is something for everyone in exciting Delhi.
