The approximate time for direct flights from Gold Coast to Perth is 5 hours and 30 minutes.
The best time to visit Perth is in spring (September, October, November) when the city is light with the colours and perfumes of spring and sunny days are uninterrupted by rain. December through February is Perth's summertime with a very hot and dry climate. Summer is lovely to enjoy the beaches, with temperatures from 20 to 35°C.

The friendly staff at Perth Airport will be waiting to greet you once your flight touches down. From there it’s easy to make your way to different parts of the city.
With brand new access roads and nearby free-flowing interchanges, your journey to Perth from Perth Airport is easy. Whether driving yourself, catching a taxi or jumping on public transport there are plenty of options to choose from. Car hire, taxis, ride share and buses are available at the terminal.
A free transit zone operates within Perth’s CBD, making it easy to explore the city centre by bus. If you’re travelling further, reloadable SmartRider cards provide unlimited access to Perth’s buses, trains and ferries, while the city’s extensive network of bicycle paths and walking tracks offer a scenic way to explore. For the utmost convenience during your stay, car hire can be booked in advance or organised on arrival.

Passengers on Qantas flights from the Gold Coast are allocated checked baggage. If you need more luggage, you can purchase an additional baggage allowance online prior to departure.
