The beaches of Los Cabos are at their best from November through May when there’s great weather and whale-watching between January and February. Getting into Los Carbos from Los Carbos Airport
Getting into Los Carbos from the airport is easy, thanks to the wide range of different transport options available. Choose from taxis, airport shuttle, limo, private transfer, bus or car hire. Taxi is a convenient option and it takes around 20 minutes to get to San José del Cabo. They can be pre-arranged or ordered on arrival. Airport shuttles are a group transport option that make frequent stops at locations to drop off passengers along the way. They can be pre-booked online. A limo service is available at Los Carbos airport and can take between 1 and 9 passengers, or you can book a private transfer for a luxurious way to travel. Buses are available from the airport to La Paz, San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo or you can organise a hotel shuttle. You may like to rent a car to explore the area at your own pace.

Taxis are a convenient option with taxi ranks throughout the town or booked through your hotel. Local buses are an easy option to get around Los Carbos without a car. Local buses run up and down the corridor between Cabo and San José every 10 to 20 minutes, just flag them down. They can stop on the highway near most beaches if you ask. Most hotels and resorts have shuttles you can use to head downtown or to nearby restaurants. Once your intown is easy to walk around to explore the area. Renting a car is a handy option as you can take short day trip to secluded beaches or nearby towns.
