The helpful staff at Cancun Airport will greet you when you land and assist with your travel needs. Once you collect your bags from the arrivals area, there are various transport options available to get you on your way.         

Getting into Cancun from Cancun Airport     

Getting into Cancun from the airport is easy, thanks to the wide range of different transport options available. Choose from taxis, bus, hotel shuttle or car hire. Taxi is a convenient option and must be pre-arranged to get the best rate and ensures your driver knows your destination. It takes around 30 minutes to get to downtown Cancun. Cancun bus services provide a direct service from the airport right to Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Merida in a very comfortable, modern, air-conditioned bus. Pick up is located just outside each terminal, it’s an inexpensive way to travel and best to book your ticket in advance. Hotel shared shuttles are a popular way to get to your destination and go to all major hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and the Riviera Maya. Private transfers are a hassle free way to travel and the driver will greet you at the arrival terminal with the car ready to leave as soon as you arrive. It's possible to rent a car with major agencies available at the airport. 

Getting around Cancun

Getting around Cancun and the Riviera Maya is easy with an array of transport options to move around and explore the region. Taxis are a convenient option and it's a good idea to get your hotel to schedule a pickup for you. Catching the bus in Cancun is a popular way to get around. Most buses and shuttles around the Zona Hotelera and Downtown follow two main routes that stop at all the convenient shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, beaches and public plazas. Renting a car is a good option if you plan on visiting places like Playa del Carmen, Tulum. If you plan to visit Isla Mujeres, you can take a ferry from Cancun.

Darwin Airport. Located 13km from the city centre on Henry Wrigley Drive, Marrara, Darwin International Airport (DRW) is the busiest and largest airport in the Northern Territory. Both domestic and international services operate from the same airport.
