Best time to visit Port Hedland

The climate and weather in Port Hedland varies significantly across two seasons – wet and dry, offering much different experiences. Visit Port Hedland during the dry season, winter, from May to November. Daytime temperatures are mild and suited to outdoor activities and adventures. If you enjoy for a dip in the ocean, the best months for a swim are April to June, October and November. The nights are cool, offering a great night of sleep. The wet season, summer, is from November to April, where the days are hot and nights are balmy. During the wet season, you can expect spectacular sunsets, dazzling lightning shows and thundering waterfalls.
