Train services run frequently through national train operators TransPennine Express and Northern Rail. Trains run every 10 minutes to Manchester Piccadilly, with an average journey time of 20 minutes. Bus and coach services run to and from Manchester Airport via The Station. The MetroLink tram is another public transport option, that runs direct from the airport to Cornbrook, a stop just outside the centre of the city. From Cornbrook there are frequent trams into the city centre. Black taxi cabs are available from all terminals for an easy trip to town. Uber and ride share services are also on offer.
