Taxis are located outside the terminal and they are not metered, so it’s best to agree on a rate with your driver first. Getting around Port Moresby
Thanks to Port Moresby’s variety of transport options, it is easy to travel around the city. Walking along Ela Beach and the markets is a nice option to take in the sights. The PMV mini buses (Public Motor Vehicles) service all parts of the city and is a cheap way to travel. Buses have the route number printed on them and it’s easy to ask locals where the buses go.
