As Australia begins to open and restrictions ease we’re adding new services to our domestic network and helping our business flyers reconnect with their customers and colleagues.

Our commitment to your safety and wellbeing continues to be our highest priority. Our Fly Well Program gives you peace-of-mind at each point of your journey and our added booking flexibility will give you confidence whether you’re getting back to business or reuniting with family and friends.

New domestic routes

We’ve added new routes and more services to our growing network of 58 destinations across Australia. This includes new services commencing in November and December between:

Fly Flexible - added flexibility when you book your next flight

Whether you’re starting to plan your back to business travel in 2021 or a flight to see family and friends over the holiday season, we want to help our customers book with confidence.

 

Flexibility on Classic Rewards seats

When you use Qantas Points to book a Classic Flight Reward seat on any Qantas or Jetstar flight you’ll be able to change the date or cancel your booking free of charge until 31 January 2021.  Classic Flight Reward seats across Australia are available to be booked today.

Flexibility on Domestic Flights

Book any Australian domestic flight between 21 May 2020 and 31 January 2021, for travel between 12 June 2020 and 31 January 2021, and we'll waive the change fee one time if you decide to change the date of your travel. When you’re ready to rebook, you’ll only need to cover any fare increase for your new flights.

Flexiblity on existing flight bookings

For existing bookings made through Qantas directly, we’ve also introduced further flexibility for booking changes and refunds on:

  • Australian Domestic flight bookings

  • International flight bookings

  • Flight credits and multi-use functionality

  • Classic flight reward bookings

  • Cancellation and change fees

Fly Well - fly with confidence

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and people is, and always has been our highest priority. Travel is an important part of life, and we know there’s understandable concern about Coronavirus. 

As we prepare for borders to open we understand that Coronavirus remains a concern for our business customers. 

Our Fly Well program brings together a range of existing and temporary wellbeing measures at airports, in lounges and on our aircraft, to help our customers feel comfortable when flying with Qantas and Jetstar.

From contactless check in options, onboard hygiene kits, to sanitising stations in lounges, our Fly Well program aims to give you peace-of-mind at each point of your journey.

^ Fees will be automatically waived on changes or cancellations to any Classic Flight Reward booking, until 31 January 2021.  To be eligible for the fee waiver, all flights in your booking must be Classic Flight Rewards. If you combine Classic Flight Rewards with non-Classic Flight Reward fares ("Commercial Fares"), the fee waiver will not apply.
