5 ways to earn Qantas Points next time you're on the road for business

As a Qantas Business Rewards member, not only can you save money next time you're out on the road, but you could also earn points up to five different ways on a single trip!

Whether you're hiring a car to visit clients in a nearby town or city, or driving locally to important meetings, it's easy to earn Qantas Points.

In fact, there are five different ways to earn points for yourself^ and your company~ the next time you drive for work. Here's how:

1 & 2. Earn points for the driver and then more points for the business when you hire a car

When you or your employees need a vehicle to travel between meetings or to visit clients, if you hire a car with Avis or Budget the person driving can earn 4 Qantas Points for every $1 spent. Simply add the Frequent Flyer details of the person driving, and they'll earn points towards their personal Frequent Flyer account.

Just add your ABN to your company's car rental booking with Avis or Budget and you'll earn and additional 4 points for every $1 spent for the business (this is on top of what the person driving has just earned.)

3. Pay for your car hire on a Qantas Points earning credit card and earn points again!

Make the most of your points earning opportunity and make your purchases on a Qantas Points earning credit card, and you can earn even more points for every dollar you spend on your bookings.

See our great credit card offers here.

4. Fill up on points when you fill up with fuel

You can also earn Qantas Points for your business (and get discounted fuel) every time you or your employees fill up with a Caltex StarCard. As a Qantas Business Rewards member you can earn up to 1 point for every litre of fuel purchased. In addition, you can earn 1 point for every $1 your business spends on repairs, parts and servicing across a network of more than 5,000 merchant partners Australia-wide, when you add Services & Repairs to you StarCard for a small fee.

Everyday fuel expenditure, vehicle servicing and repairs plus other on-road related expenses can all be consolidated onto your StarCard. For drivers, this means no more receipts. With all expenses recorded and consolidated onto your StarCard, you and your employees will be able to spend less time on admin and reporting and more time growing your business.

5. Earn points even when you're parked

Not only can you and your employees earn points on the road, but you can earn them when you're parked too! Your business can earn Qantas Points with Secure Parking when you book parking online with Secure-a-Spot, or purchase Monthly Parking or Advantage Parker (a casual payment card) for you and your employees or your fleet.

Secure Parking offers you safe, secure and convenient car park facilities in major Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, and Perth. Earn 3 points per $1 spent for your business on affordable parking solutions for you and your team.
