Points earned in relation to Avis rentals are earned in accordance with the rates and rental terms and conditions determined by Avis and are subject to change. Members should check the applicable rates and terms and conditions with Avis when making a reservation.
Qantas Business Rewards members can earn points at Avis Australia locations only. The member must quote their Qantas Business Rewards membership number when making their booking, and bookings must be made through qantas.com. Qantas Points can only be earned on freely available retail rates booked through qantas.com.
Points are awarded for vehicle rentals purchased at rates deemed eligible by Avis. Unless otherwise specified by the car rental company, points will not be earned for car rentals of the type described below:
Rentals that earn Qantas Points cannot also earn Avis Corporate Award certificates.
Qantas Points are earned on Time and Kilometre charges on qualifying rental rates in Australia only. Points will not be earned in relation to taxes (including GST), fees, or for charges for insurance, petrol, GPS and other miscellaneous charges.
A maximum of 240,000 Qantas Points can be earned for Avis rentals per Qantas Business Rewards Member or Qantas Business Rewards Group for each membership year.
Retrospective claims will only be processed if the rental occurred no more than six months prior to receipt of the Member's claim.
Retrospective claims or claims for points omitted from the Activity Statement will be accepted only if a copy of an Avis rental agreement or an Avis rental number is provided as proof of rental. Vouchers, charge card vouchers and confirmation advices will not be accepted.
