Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 2,000 Qantas Points when they link or set up an Uber account via the Qantas app or on qantas.com/uber and subsequently request their first ride within Australia through the Uber or Qantas app. Each Qantas Frequent Flyer member can earn a maximum of 2,000 Qantas Points under this offer.
In order to earn Qantas Points, Members must login to the latest version of the Qantas app, set up or link their Qantas Frequent Flyer and Uber accounts,request an Eligible Ride via the Qantas app and complete that ride. To download the latest version of the Qantas app members require iOS 9.3 or later or Android operating system 5.0 and up.
Members who request an Eligible Ride via the Qantas app and complete an Eligible Ride will earn the following Qantas Points per dollar spent on the final value of the Eligible Ride: Bronze Members: 1 Qantas Point; Silver Members: 2 Qantas Points; Gold, Platinum, and Platinum One members: 3 Qantas Points.
An Eligible Ride is an Uber ride excluding uberTAXI and uberEATS requested using the Qantas app to or from any of the following Australian airports: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, Maroochydore, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Townsville, Newcastle, Toowoomba, Avalon, Byron Bay
Qantas Points can only be earned on split fares where an eligible ride has been completed and members have already linked their Uber and Frequent Flyer accounts. Each member will earn Qantas Points in accordance with their Frequent Flyer membership tier. If a member, regardless of whether they requested the Uber or not, has not linked their Uber and Frequent Flyer accounts then they will not earn Qantas Points. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members taking the same eligible ride if only one member pays for the ride. The member who has requested and paid for the ride will earn the points.
Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or no-show trip requests. Qantas Points may take up to six weeks after your ride to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Qantas and Uber may change the number of points earned or other eligibility requirements from time to time.
The Uber app is a technology service to help connect riders and independent driver-partners, and neither Uber or Qantas are transport providers for rides requested or taken using the Qantas or Uber app.
