Bangarra Dance Theatre

Qantas is proud to be the official airline partner of Bangarra Dance Theatre. As one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies, Bangarra Dance Theatre is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation internationally acclaimed for their powerful dancing and distinctive sound, music and design.

Led by Artistic Director Stephen Page, Bangarra’s contemporary dance technique is fuelled by the spirit, energy and inspiration derived from the culture, values and traditions of Indigenous Australians.

Museum of Contemporary Art

Qantas is proud to be the official airline of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA), Australia’s leading museum dedicated to exhibiting, collecting and interpreting the work of today’s artists.

The MCA aims to help shape an Australia that values contemporary art and artists, bringing exceptional exhibitions of international and Australian art to as many people as possible.

From major thematic exhibitions and solo surveys of established artists, to new work by emerging artists, touring exhibitions and community-led projects, the MCA strives to cover the range and diversity of contemporary art.

Museum of Old and New Art

The Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) is located in Hobart on the site of the Moorilla winery. Described by owner David Walsh as a ‘subversive adult Disneyland’, it’s the largest privately funded museum in Australia with a diverse collection of antiquities, artefacts and contemporary art.

In addition to its exhibition program, Mona is home to restaurants, bars, accommodation, vineyards, and two festivals – Mona Foma in Launceston each January, and Dark Mofo in Hobart each June. Qantas is a proud supporter of Mona.

National Gallery of Australia

The National Gallery of Australia (NGA) in Canberra is Australia’s cultural institution for visual arts. With a dynamic international exhibition program and the biggest collection of art in the country, the NGA brings the best of the world to Canberra and takes the best of Australia to the world.

National Gallery of Victoria

Qantas is proud to be a major partner of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). The gallery hosts a wide range of international and local artists, exhibitions, programs and events; from contemporary art to major international historic exhibitions, fashion and design, architecture, sound and dance.

Founded in 1861, the NGV now holds the most significant collection of art in the region, a vast treasury of more than 70,000 works that spans thousands of years across a wealth of ideas, disciplines and styles.

Opera Australia

Opera Australia’s mission is to perform some of the greatest music ever written to as many people as possible. With more than 700 performances across Australia to over half a million people annually. Opera Australia is now one of the world’s busiest arts companies.

Opera Australia performs operas, musicals and concerts in its home venues of the Sydney Opera House and the Arts Centre Melbourne. You’ll also find them performing on Sydney Harbour and in schools all over New South Wales and Victoria.

West Australian Opera

West Australian Opera's vision is to enrich the cultural landscape by presenting world-class opera.

Each year, West Australian Opera presents opera in the historic His Majesty's Theatre with the West Australian Opera Chorus and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

West Australian Opera has a strong education and community program, including singing classes, library events, school excursions and incursions, makeup workshops and behind the scene opportunities.

International Joint Acquisition Program for Contemporary Australian Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA), Qantas and Tate have established an unprecedented International Acquisition Program for Contemporary Australian Art. Made possible through a corporate gift from the Qantas Foundation, this collaboration has increased the international profile of contemporary Australian art. The five-year joint program has already acquired a range of major works by contemporary Australian artists for the collections of MCA and Tate, owned by and displayed at both institutions. This program has significantly enhanced both organisations` holdings of Australian art, while transforming the opportunities for international audiences to connect with contemporary Australian art and artists.
