Christchurch airport
Christchurch International Airport (CHC) is the main airport that serves Christchurch, New Zealand. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) to the northwest of the city centre.

Check-in is located on the ground floor.
Check-in for international flights is from 3 hours before departure. For international departures, check-in at least 2 hours before departure. Have your passport and airline tickets ready. Remember to ensure all sharp objects have been placed in your suitcase. Sharp objects are not permitted within hand luggage and will be confiscated by Aviation Security at the Security checkpoint.
For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check-in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more detail.
Online check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines.
Online check-in is open from 24 hours to two hours before departure for international flights.
