Technology Partner System Servicing Guide

1. Follow the instructions in the Qantas Agency Connect Schedule Change Policy to obtain a waiver authority, if required.
2. Reissue the ticket via the Qantas Distribution Platform

1. Follow the instructions in the Qantas Agency Connect Schedule Change Policy to obtain a waiver authority, if required
2. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect team
3. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect team and provide the schedule change authority. They will reissue the ticket

Voluntary change for Interline flights is now available for selected carriers (AA) on the Qantas Distribution Platform.

1. Rebook the flights in the GDS
2. Cancel the booking in the Qantas Distribution Platform
3. If you do not have access to the GDS, then contact the Qantas Agency Connect team to rebook and reissue 
4. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect team who will reissue the ticket 

Note: Where Qantas operated and marketed flight/s are unavailable, please contact the Qantas Agency Connect team before cancelling the original PNR to request the flight/s to be transferred to the new PNR.

1. Function supported by your Technology Partner:
 a. Rebook via the Qantas Distribution Platform and reissue the ticket

2. Function not supported by your Technology Partner:
 a. Only create single passenger bookings until split PNR is available
 b. If required to split, rebook via the Qantas Distribution Platform but don’t reissue the ticket
 c. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect or Sales Support team in your region, to reassess and reissue the ticket 

1. Update the name in the Qantas Distribution Platform
2. If this feature is not supported, cancel the original booking and make a new booking in the correct name

Name Corrections is not permitted

1. Action as per the Corporate Name Change policy
2. Use the Credit on Hold function via the Qantas Distribution Platform
3. Reissue ticket via the Qantas Distribution Platform

4. Issue the name change fee EMD via GDS


Issuing EMD for Name Change via the GDS
Below is information on how to issue an EMD payment for the name change fee via the GDS.

• Create a non-air booking file, i.e. a booking without any flights
• The name in the booking should match the new name as held in the Qantas Distribution Platform 
• No Qantas passive segments permitted 
• The name change fee must be shown as AUD90.00 and AUD9.00UO 
• The fee is collected via EMD-S using service code REIS, RFIC Code D, and RFISC 98I
• The commission level must be manually amended to 0% commission 
• The issued in connection field of the EMD must show the new Qantas issued ticket number
• Any valid form of payment accepted via BSP may be used

Name Change is not permitted
1. Cancel the original booking
2. Make a new booking in the correct name

 a. Rebook via the Qantas Distribution Platform and reissue the ticket

2. Function not supported by your Technology Partner:
 a. Rebook via the Qantas Distribution Platform but don’t reissue the ticket
 b. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect or Sales Support team in your region, to reassess and reissue the ticket

3. Feature not supported by your Technology Partner:
 a. Rebook via the Qantas Distribution Platform but don’t reissue the ticket
 b. Contact the Qantas Agency Connect or Sales Support team in your region, to reassess and reissue the ticket
