Qantas takes off to Townsville with new routes from Sydney and Melbourne

Customers will now find it easier than ever to get to Townsville with new Qantas flights taking off today from Sydney and Melbourne. 

Qantas now offer more flights to and from Townsville than pre-COVID, with four new interstate routes announced into the city in the past year. 

The national carrier will operate up to four weekly return flights on each route with its 94-seat Embraer E190 aircraft, opening up an additional 1,500 seats for Townsville each week. 

Qantas’ Fly Flexible policy offers customers who book flights for travel before 28 February 2022 added flexibility with unlimited fee free date changes (a fare difference may apply).
