We are giving eligible Qantas Club members extended access to all membership benefits for another seven months.
This extension is available for Qantas Club members who held a paid Qantas Club membership from 30 June 2021 and originally purchased their membership with a credit or debit card, or by redeeming Qantas Points.
Qantas Club memberships will be automatically extended. There’s no need for customers to do anything, their membership expiry date will be updated in their account in October. Once their membership has been extended, customers can view their updated details by visiting My Account at qantas.com or the Qantas App. As we will not be issuing new Qantas Club membership cards, we recommend customers to download the Qantas App where they can view and use their digital card for eligible lounge access
For those who have purchased an Annual Guest Card, this will also be extended for a further seven months from the date of expiry of their Annual Guest Card.
Most Complimentary Lounge Invitations will also be extended by seven months. This excludes invitation/s received as part of Points Club, or as a Silver tiered member benefit. Members can view the expiry date/s of their invitation/s via the Complimentary Lounge Invitations portal.
For more information, including detailed questions and answers, visit the Qantas website.
Disclaimer: #To be eligible for the extension, customers must have been a Qantas Club member between 30 June and 25 August 2021 with a membership paid for using a credit or debit card, or by redeeming Qantas Points. If a customer has an associated Annual Guest Card as part of their Qantas Club membership, this will also be extended for 7 months from the date of card expiry. During this time their existing guest card can be used to gain entry to the lounge for the additional 7 months. For more information, visit the Qantas website.
Customers must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions.
Disclaimer: ^ Lounge access eligibility is based on a customer’s class of travel, Qantas Club membership, Qantas Frequent Flyer or oneworld® membership tier. Access to Qantas lounges is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Club. Eligible customers may access an open Australian domestic Qantas Club or Qantas regional lounge in their departure port, when their next onward flight on the same day is with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K or GK) flight number on their ticket. If an Australian domestic Qantas Club or Qantas regional lounge is closed, and a Qantas Business lounge is open in that same airport, customers with lounge access eligibility will have temporary access to the Business lounge. International First, International Business, Partner and Associated lounge access remains closed until further notice. For more information, visit the Qantas website.
Qantas Australian Domestic and International lounge network is subject to change due to changes in state and territory specific restrictions, or health and safety advice. Please remember to check our airport service changes page for the most up to date information on Domestic and International lounge openings and updates. Lounge access eligibility conditions apply. Temporary measures have been put in place across the Qantas lounge network including capacity restrictions, physical distancing requirements and changes to our food and beverage service offerings. Business, Gold Frequent Flyers and Qantas Club members can visit the First Lounge subject to capacity limits until the neighbouring Business lounges reopen. Business customers, Platinum One, Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers and Qantas Club members can access to Air New Zealand lounges in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown, subject to opening hours and capacity limits. Please be advised that lounges are subject to capacity limits at the time of your visit. If a customer is flying domestically on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar within Australia, and on Jetstar within New Zealand they may bring one guest to join them in a Qantas Club lounge. When visiting an international Qantas Club lounge, customers are able to invite one guest each time they visit. Both the customer and their guest need to be travelling together further that day on the same flight.
