The Qantas Distribution Platform has the capability to deliver special price offers for Qantas Frequent Flyers. These offers will be available from time-to-time and on specific flights, routes and destinations.
When shopping via the Qantas Distribution Platform, you will be able to identify and access special price offers for your Qantas Frequent Flyer customer's, delivering greater reward and recognition to members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program.
What do I need to do to access special price offers for my Qantas Frequent Flyer customer?
When shopping for your Qantas Frequent Flyer customer, you must include your customer's Qantas Frequent Flyer number. This ensures the Qantas Distribution Platform will recognise your customer, and provide any special price offer available to them, as well as the number of Qantas Points or Status Credits normally earned by your customer on an eligible flight.
Where can I view special price offers when shopping for my Qantas Frequent Flyer customer?
You can identify where a special price offer is available when you see ‘QFF Flight Price Offer’ in the shopping response. The level of discount that applies to the offer may also be shown in the shopping response.
Please check with your Technology Partner to understand how these offers will be displayed for your agency.
If your customer's Qantas Frequent Flyer number is not included when shopping, special price offers for Qantas Frequent Flyer customer will not display and these offers will not be available for your customer, even if your customer’s Qantas Frequent Flyer number is entered when or after a booking is created
What if my customer makes changes to their flight booking?
If your Qantas Frequent Flyer customer has booked a flight where a special price offer has been applied, and your customer then makes changes to their booking, the offer may or may not apply to the new flight. Any changes made to the booking will be subject to the rules and conditions of the new applicable fare. If the offer is no longer available, your customer may not be eligible for the discounted fare originally ticketed. The new fare needs to be of equal or higher value in line with the relevant Qantas Ticket Reissue Policy. If Qantas changes your customer’s flight where a special price offer has been applied and reaccommodates your customer on an alternative flight then the offer will apply to the new flight.
Does my Qantas Frequent Flyer customer need to register to be eligible for special price offers?
If you book a flight for your Qantas Frequent Flyer customer via the Qantas Distribution Platform, and the special price offer has been applied to the booking, your customer is not required to undertake additional registration in order to be eligible for the offer. Any Qantas Points or Status Credits normally earned by your customer may take up to six weeks after completion of travel to be credited to your customer’s Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
