Today, Qantas announced Australian and New Zealand-based travel agents are set to benefit from an extension to the lower pricing initiative when booking fares through the Qantas Distribution Platform.
From 29 August 2023, travel agents accessing Qantas Distribution Platform content via one of our Approved Technology Partners can benefit from discounted trans-Tasman fares up to 5% lower in price, compared to other indirect booking systems.
Since November 2022, our agency partners and mutual customers have enjoyed discounted Australian domestic fares up to 4% lower in price, compared to what is available in other indirect booking systems.
Since its launch, Qantas has continued to invest in the capabilities of the Qantas Distribution Platform, releasing special offers and new revenue opportunities, growing the network of Technology Partners and expanding the program internationally.
The Qantas Distribution Platform provides customers with more choice and personalised offers in their travel experience and we’re committed to helping our trade partners access this next generation technology and value.

Access to Qantas Distribution Platform content requires your agency to be registered globally in the Qantas Channel, and to have nominated your preferred Approved Technology Partner/s via Qantas Agency Connect.
