A reminder for customers to cancel their flight for a full credit by 30 April 2020

Across the globe, we have all had to adapt to a new way of life as a result of the Coronavirus.

As you know, one of the biggest impacts has been the significant disruption to travel, following government restrictions and border closures. At Qantas, we’ve had to make changes across our network, as well as reduce airport and inflight services. We know this has impacted many of our mutual customers and we thank you for understanding.

We want to remind those customers who have flights booked for travel before 31 July 2020 and no longer wish to fly, that they have until Thursday 30 April 2020 to request a full flight credit. The credit will be valid until 31 December 2021 and Qantas will waive the usual change fees.

Information on how to request your customer’s flight credit can be found here

If the expiry date of your customer’s current flight credit is not 31 December 2021

Qantas has extended the validity of all flight credits issued on or after 31 January 2020 until 31 December 2021. The majority of these extensions have now been processed. If the validity date displayed on your customer’s flight credit has not yet been updated to 31 December 2021, this will occur over the coming month.

We hope this gives your customers some reassurance and flexibility around their future travel plans.
