Qantas will increase its flying from this week following the Queensland Government’s decision to open its borders to regional New South Wales.
A new route will commence between Port Macquarie and Brisbane on 18 November. Flights will be operated up to five times per week with the airline’s Q400 turboprop aircraft, adding more than 700 seats on the route each week.
Qantas will also resume services to Brisbane on routes it has not operated since July:
- Newcastle-Brisbane – flights to resume on 3 November 2020, operating daily.
- Tamworth-Brisbane – flights to resume on 12 November 2020, operating three times per week.
