The route will be serviced by the popular Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Flights will operate three times a week with plans to increase.
The Dreamliner carries 236 passengers across three cabins. It features the latest version of the airline’s Business Suite, nicknamed “mini First Class” by some frequent flyers, as well as a next generation Premium Economy seat and a significantly improved Economy seat with extra storage compartments and more legroom.
Alaska Airlines partners with Qantas to provide easy access to over 100 destinations across North America. Out of San Francisco, Alaska Airlines provides Qantas’ largest codeshare network, with almost 30 destinations.
Qantas’ joint business partner American Airlines also offer codeshare services on select routes as part of the joint network into Australia, giving customers even more travel options.
