Confirmed bassinets to give parents greater peace of mind

Your customers can now reserve a baby bassinet on Qantas international flights.

The new booking option applies to all aircraft operating which have bassinets onboard - Boeing 787s and 747s, and Airbus A380s and A330s.

Confirmed bassinets are free to book for Business and Premium Economy customers. In Economy, it will cost A$40 for medium haul international (for example Sydney-Singapore) and A$45 for long haul international (for example Melbourne-Los Angeles) and includes a reserved seat for the parent/family.

This means parents will now know ahead of their flight whether or not they have secured a bassinet.

Your customers will still be able to request a bassinet at check-in without paying a fee, subject to availability.
