The Qantas Distribution Platform delivers a more personalised shopping experience and enables Qantas to create a range of new and exciting offers for Qantas Channel Agents.

Is the Qantas Distribution Platform ready to make NDC bookings now?
The Qantas Distribution Platform is available to all Travel Agencies that are in the Qantas Channel and subject to connection by their approved Technology Partner, is now ready for those Travel Agencies to start making NDC bookings. Travel Agencies are encouraged to engage with their Technology Partners to discuss their readiness to connect to the Qantas Distribution Platform.
The Qantas Distribution Platform has been certified as NDC@scale by IATA and has most of the functionality that is available to Travel Agencies in the traditional GDS as well as new functions that are superior to the traditional GDS.
Qantas is committed to working closely with our Technology Partners to ensure the Qantas Distribution Platform meets the future needs of our Travel Agencies and remains the leading Airline NDC platform.
Can my Agency connect to the Qantas Distribution Platform now?
The Qantas Distribution Platform is not a website and does not have an Agency facing user interface.
To access the Qantas Distribution Platform, Travel Agencies must connect via an Approved Technology Partner or directly. Qantas requires all Technology Partners that connect to the Qantas Distribution Platform to have a minimum level of servicing functionality before allowing Travel Agencies to generate NDC bookings. This is necessary to ensure the integrity of the service provided to our customers.
Qantas is working closely with a broad range of Technology Partners and additional technology partners will continue to be announced. Some of these Technology Partners have not yet developed the minimum servicing capabilities required by Qantas and are therefore not yet able to make bookings. Other Technology Partners are ready now. Travel Agencies are encouraged to engage with their Technology Partners to discuss their readiness to connect to the Qantas Distribution Platform.
When will new types of offers be distributed via the Qantas Distribution Platform?
Travel Agencies can already access most standard public and private fares via the Qantas Distribution platform. Qantas is committed to offering a range of new and exciting offers via the Qantas Distribution Platform that were not previously available to Travel Agents.
In December 2020 Qantas announced that customers booked via the Qantas Distribution Platform will be able to Fly Carbon Neutral. Fly Carbon Neutral had previously only been available to customers that booked via Qantas.com. Fly Carbon Neutral is now available to Travel Agencies that are in the Qantas Channel and make bookings using content from the Qantas Distribution Platform.
Qantas is committed to continuously delivering new offers in the Qantas Distribution Platform and plans to introduce a range of new offers throughout 2021. These include new frequent flyer offers as well as special offers for our corporate and leisure customers.
Information about new offers, including any relevant terms and conditions will be available on Qantas Agency Connect.
Travel Agencies are encouraged to engage with their Approved Technology Partner to understand if and when each new offer will be available via that Technology Partner.
Will Qantas provide Agency support for bookings made via the Qantas Distribution Platform?
Qantas will continue to provide agency support services via our Qantas Agency Connect website and our Qantas Agency Connect team. Schedule change and commercial waiver processes on Qantas Distribution Platform bookings will continue to be processed via the Qantas Agency Connect website.
